I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. [Gal 2:20]

I want to share this message from Daily Bible Devotion:
Don't long for "the good old days." This is not wise.
Ecclesiastes 7:10, NLT
Have you ever noticed how some memories become sweeter over time? They start off as normal, unglamorous experiences, but the greater the time that has passed the sweeter they become. We sensationalize them even further if our present circumstances aren't going well. It's easy to get caught up in nostalgia and reminisce, but it's dangerous. We risk losing out on the time we have at hand right now. Don't let your current displeasures trick you into recreating "the good old days." Make a change to live for Christ today in this moment. _________________________________
Today is a comfortable day spent in comfy clothes, stuffing down comfort food in the presence of comfortable company.
Brunch with Puan n grace: shared full brekkie with toast dipped in runny egg yolk and a generous amount of butter
Snack: Grace's baked chocolatey goodness with ice cream
Dinner with OT buddies saralee Kelvin Howard: we... finished a box worth of steamboat stuff. Omg. I wasn't even bloated. Bahaha.
But I'm thankful for a day where I'm reminded (again) that I'm so blessed to have family and friends with so much love I don't deserve. For their willingness to head over to my place to eat and hang out to accomodate my assignmenting plans. God's grace.
Now, it's my turn. DO MY BEST!!!!
While hanging around in a branded shop...
Me: guess how much this headband is!
Dad: what? 140dollars?
Me: wrong! 270!
Dad: .... oh ya.. I forgot to include service charge and gst..
I love how there are so many things that I've come across as a kid which never made sense at that point.. but they are so meaningful and precious now that I have a better understanding. Thank God I have hoarding habits as well as the tendency to dig around the house whenever I return.. so many old treasures to find!
Here is one of them. My primary school creed. I think we used to sing it every week. It is actually a really good song!
I wonder what plans You have for my trip here this time.. but it does seem like some family time. Be glorified and lifted up in our lives, dear Lord, whatever that's supposed to mean.
I pray for open eyes and open hearts ready to ride on waves of mercy and blessings that gush into our lives.
