After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

As we contemplate this image of heaven, of multitudes worshipping God seated in His heavenly throne, people of every tribe and nation and language crowded around Him... I was reminded at bible study that what John described as "uncountable"- the sea of faces, each distinct from one another.. God knows each and every one of these faces personally and intimately. He knows their name, their thoughts, when they sit and when they rise.
God reaches to each one personally, tenderly and patiently. Like a gentle shepherd. And when we finally get to see Him face to face, His presence shall be our shelter. Even now, He is our ever present help.
Thank You Lord, for loving us.. for loving me, a speck of dust. Who am I that You should care for me? How else should one respond, apart from full surrender- a life that lives to worship You.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. [Gal 2:20]

The Lord My Good Shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and staff, they comfort me.
Today, I am thankful that I have a good shepherd who provides for all my needs physically, mentally and spiritually. The good shepherd who knows His sheep and lays down His life for His sheep. He leads us to springs of living waters.
Psalm 23, Revelation 7, John 10
Lord, thank You for being my shepherd. Teach me to love Your sheep entrusted into my care like You do. Teach me to place their needs before my own, teach me to point them to the chief shepherd, You, who is the only one who can fill and satisfy us physically, mentally and spiritually. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
