Finally I can say.. IT’S THE HOLIDAYS TOMORROW!!!!
Haha. Gosh. This week has passed sooooo slowly!
Anyway.. I learnt so much today…
During pe we went for ice skating.
On the bus ride to the rink, I was trying hard to sleep but I couldn’t..
Shona, who was sitting next to me started talking to *lisa

I’ve always had an impression that *lisa was really stuck up since the first time I saw her.
I think its because she seems quite negative and straightforward,
And maybe because she’s different from what I see as normal.
She was talking about her family ( she’s the only child)
She refuses to call her cousins and aunts “family” because they are quite indecent so yeah. Carrying on, she was talking about how her mum got pregnant with her when she was only 16.. and they used to be really poor that they lived in a caravan… for her to get into a private school was kind of a blessing when her dad found a good job and got rather successful in comparison to how they used to live back then. So things started to get busy with work and stuff and one day while driving home feeling stressed up and all, *lisa’s dad sort of broke down and his car crashed. *lisa’s mum was apparently clinically dead, but came back alive again. And *lisa used to work a lot to pay for stuff and all too. Now they’re all living happily and own 2 houses.

I feel really happy for her that she’s living a smooth, peaceful life now
I feel guilty for judging her
I really respect her for being so strong after going through so much
I feel guilty that while she’s so thankful for being in st marys, im not cherishing every single second I spend here.. and I even procrastinate at times.

So yeah. But I’ve never like been cold to her or anything. I talk to her but I think she’s different. Well she is different but it doesn’t matter anymore. SHE IS MY FRIEND =D.

Next… its been a challenge surviving as a Christian here. Well not that bad actually. But its been a challenge having to get into the Aussie lifestyle and mix with them well while setting a good example as a Christian over here. Yeah that’s what I mean. Ahhaha. I’ve worked out the reason as to why have I been so silent the whole year. Well.. people enjoy bitching about everyone and anyone… not everyone does that though… but yeah.. their good friends, ppl they dislike, ppl that are different, ppl they don’t even know personally.. they are all the victims of bitchism. I don’t know if I’ve been bitched about but that’s beside the point. The point here is, there’s no way as a Christian trying to set a good example that I join in and add fuel to the fire. Maybe I can try to stop them by changing the subject or try to change their thinking and point of view of the person. But what have I been doing? Well guess what.. jeannie the scaredy cat decided she shall remain silent as she always has instead of speaking up for others. I always get so pissed with myself. What difference does it make if I just shut up and stare? No difference at all! But im scared to cut in… firstly, since I’ve always been silent, I don’t see myself to be involved in the conversation. Secondly, I’m not close to those ppl.. and im scared of them to a certain extent. Hehe yes I am very timid.. thirdly, I am too self conscious. I am afraid I will be disliked by the ppl and be the next victim of their bitching if I open my mouth to speak. Well well… that’s wonderful<-sarcastic tone!

HOWEVER, I believe that as long as I keep on praying and asking for courage, one fine day, when the sun shines brightly on the mountain tops, I WILL BE BRAVE! Yes I will! xD then I’ll be able to speak up for those innocent victims subjected to the ruthless bitching of their so-called friends. If I put in a good word or two, it might be able to alter their viewpoint on that person and might even start to like them.. and soon enough, bitching will extinct and everyone will live lovingly in peace and harmony. =) that’s awesome. Although it seems impossible, every action done will help towards that utopian environment! And it is worth it!

Ok on to the holidays. Yayness.

Sounds like a lot for 2 weeks hey.. haha oh well. Shopping list takes one day to complete. Math takes half a day I hope. Music 1.5-2 days. Science 1.5 days. Media photo assignment 3 days. So I have one week of proper holiday… not too bad…OKAY! PRAY THAT I’LL STICK TO MY PLAN! Oh I will be cooking too. U might want to pray for my dad, who’s gonna eat most of it. Hehe. Till then! its amazing how time flies...
it feels like yesterday when i had all the farewell parties..

but its so nice to read the farewell letters now..
i always laugh at valval's letter. she's so cute!
she gave me a birthday card (3 mths before my bday)
with chinese writing inside. so i will not forget chinese!

after 2 million donkey years,
i finally decided to put some stuff on my board a few days ago.
i was reading all the letters again.

and i was like..I MISS SINGAPORE!!!

come to think of it,
my life here has IMPROVED(not really a good word to use but i cant think of the right one)
hahahha... i think i talked bout this before..ohwell.
coming here has been quite an exciting experience.
it has opened many new opportunities for me..
i get to do stuff i dont get to do in singapore..
i have time for myself. relax, do sports music dance and still have time..
yeah.

i think im a person who dislikes changes.
i can adapt quite quickly.
once i've settled and adapted, i feel all comfy and dont wanna change the routine.
im stubborn in that way.
so now im adapting to the life here.
of course there's stuff that i miss in singapore..
my family, friends, shopping, FOOD!, school, transport..
but this place has its pros too..
my family(daddy), friends, nice weather, friendly ppl, school..
i think its just a matter of getting used to stuff..
speaking about that..
after having kristi out with me for the past few.. i mean past MANY weekends,
it does feel kinda weird not having her around.
(she's in the boarding hse studying for mocks)
i cant imagine nxt yr!
half the time i spend in the boarding hse is in her room!

i hope she stays in perth for uni. =D
anyway, im quite excited for nxt yr tho.

nxt morning NATIONAL PRAYER DAY in subi church
then glenna drove me to ballet then drove us home (east perth)
then we watched that freaky but cool MINORITY REPORT show.
so cool..
nxt morning we took a train to church
the nanny realised i wore the same jacket and jeans the whole weekend!
hehe. i was trying to TRAVEL LIGHT.
after church we wandered ard the city and went back to school.

thats when we came back from church.
got our stuff and went to the airport.
domestic flight to albany! yayy.
it was so much fun...

relaxation-i made a beaded seahorse keychain(IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!)
wonderwomen-they made a newsppr tutu with a cape and a wand with a letter 'R'.. cus im supposedly the ANGEL OF RECYCLING. hehe
abseiling- quite easy.. it was so short! but not bad..
mountain biking- i was too scared so i ended up picking sea shells at the beach with hayley. hehe
whale watching- we saw whales!!! so near! so cute!!! xD
surf rafting- it was SO GOOD! my fav! so fun... it was like roller coaster riding xD
restaurant rules- we had to cook and act like a restaurant. cook kangaroo,croc,emu. it was so yum i tell you. EVERYTHING! awe... yumyumyum! our grp won! yipee..
night snorkelling- it was real fun but i didnt see much cus i was fiddling with my mask and trying to breathe most of the time. hehe
initiative games- egg throwing.. heh
filming- our film is so scary.. hahhaha its THE CURSE OF AMELIA EARHART
small business management- advertise the soap. boring. quite.
film editing-we realised the film really was very scary
skit night- watched the wonder women costumes. its so like project runway. its so good.. then the skits. hahaha they were hilarious. esp my grp! hahaha i was luffing my head off! we kept cracking up and all of us were crying!

OCF annual general meeting
adeline gave us daffodils cuz it was daffodil day-fundraising for cancer research
she gave the girls.. cus everytime a guy came to ask why we have flowers i will be like

so funny.. i thot uni ppl v mature one.. they so childish.
then that kenneth say i dont deserve the flower!
he took it and gave it to Liz!
who of course, being nice and sweet, gave it to me again.haha
ytd kristi wasnt with me! she flew to melbourne and left me behind..

its such a busy weekend..

friday: CHOIR REHEARSAL! OCF BIBLE STUDY!
saturday: BALLET! WORSHIP NIGHT!
sunday: CHOIR PERFORMANCE! cant go to church =( STUPID HOMEWORK AND STUDYING FOR TESTS!

i just returned frm worship night. it was AWESOME. the piano keyboard man is so pro man.
i cant say that.. i must say PROPROPROPROproPROproPROPROpropro!!!!!!
very pro! hahha. i think he has perfect pitch..
when someone just sang out a song randomly he can just catch the key and play it on the keyboard without mistakes! my jaw nearly dropped out.
and the choir performance, we are performing with some orchestra and other choirs.
one of them is this boys choir..THEY ARE SO PRO TOOO!!!
they are all so small!! like 10 plus and some are even tinier! and they sing like some pro sopranos! i was almost fainting...boys!! shouldn they be out climbing trees instead?
so small already start singing so professionally... aiyo...
this weekend is like the MEET THE PROS weekend. ahah
gah. i cant go out nxt weekend.

one of those days will be capaf-creative and performing arts festival-CALIFORNICATION! (i'll be playing drums! i know... you cant believe im learning that.. learn to ACCEPT FACTS! i just learnt it this year and my teacher actually said im good okay!HAHA)
and im not coming back in october.

i was so happy i could think of steps to do.
we're doing alice in wonderland as a class item..

driving:
yeap i learnt to drive today.
daddy was so annoying..
i was like.. umm.. whr's the hole for the key?
he pointed to some place on the left of the steering wheel..
i touched about and couldnt find a keyhole!
AND I REALISED IT WAS ON MY RIGHT!
grr. how annoying.. then i have this habit on stepping on things with a lot of strength..
hahah. i did that to the brakes and accelerator.
when i did that on the brakes, my dad nearly flew out of the car.. at 10km/hr
(it was goin so slow i thot it was 1km/hr)
that's when we realised we dont have our seatbelts on!
when i did the same thing on the accelerator, nth happened cuz it was on parked mode..
so there was just a VROOOOMM sound. which was rili cool. haha.
my dad's car sounds like a motorbike!
anyway.. it was a stressful hour for me.
it was an EMPTY carpark. that was good tho.
cuz i forgot that when carparks have cars you dont have much space to move about.
bleah.

dinner,
to vicky's home:
had coffee made by their funky coffee machine.
listened to victoria's funny story..
its actually a sentence long but she took forever to say it..
cuz she would start 'one day i was rollerblading in singapore and then this indian girl on her bicycle..HAHAHHAHAHHA!!'
and then she starts over again and does exactly the same thing over and over again.
so her dad asked her to start from indian girl instead..
so she was like 'the indian girl..HAHAHHAHA!'
so what wassit??

my life plan..(sort of)
im going to get married in my early twenties [20/22]
have my first child at ard 24
i think i want to have a son first then after that a daughter.
haha.
then i should date that person as long as possible so.. 3-4 yrs.
THAT MEANS..i only have 1-2yrs to find a husband!
oh no!

yesterday was a horrible day which turned out to be great! =))
horrible:sports day.
well.. just some parts of it..
cuz my close friends are all in other houses so i was lonely.="(
and i was irritated cuz i think i was one of those who cheered the most and the irritating person gave other ppl sweets but didnt offer me any! wad kinda leader!
who would wanna join the house if she's so irritating.grrr.
ok she is not irritating. but what she did (or did not do) WAS VERY UPSETTING!

but there were fun times.. like when i played LEADERBALL (funfunfun!)
when hannah and i tried to run the hurdles for fun
and had chinese singing competitions with kristi and her chinese friends
even sitting on mei and squashing her into a roti prata was fun

then when the event was ending i realised my bag was wet and my jacket had brown stains as if it was stepped on!
WHAT ARE EYES FOR! cant stand it when ppl trample their way around with their eyes in their pocket..grrr
so that spoiled my mood for the rest of the day.. or so i thought.
i wasnt excited for the boarders' ball cuz i was so pissed that morning
but after that i had no time to rmbr to be moody or pissed
we hardly had much time to prepare for the ball!
showered, fetched stuff frm my dad, dried my hair, dried nicole's hair, dried melyse's hair,
did my makeup, did nicole's hair,a little of nicole's makeup

sentence of the day:"living in the boarding hse has certainly improved my makeup skills!"(hannah thornton the silly nutty roommate)

then i hopped into my dress, jumped into my shoes, grabbed my bag and flew down the stairs.
we were all in such a rush! and we actually were thinking of watching E Zuo Ju Zhi Wen while preparing! haha.
when we were there we helped get food to the boat. i mean CRUISE..small cruise.TINY CRUISE.
then we waited.. kristi and i were starving! we didnt have dinner!
anyway, we sat on a bench and studied the different dresses and gowns.
come to think of it.. the pictures i took only had heads.. no dresses no shoes.. haha..
OOPS.
then hannah went to meet her date, MATT
nicole met her date, SAM
i met my date,KRISTI
and she met hers, JEANNIE.
HAHA. reasons i didnt bring a date: i dont rili know anyone, i prefer hanging out with my female friends(HAHA), im too selfish to pay for someone i dont know.HEEHEE
but it was lotsa fun..
better than the past 2 dinnerdances.
cuz i think i know more ppl and im more comfy with them so yeah.
we ATE the moment we stepped into the boat.

then sat and talked, danced, took pictures of heads.. haha.
part of the reason y i felt more comfy was cuz there were more asians.
HAAH. oh no im racist! haha im not la!
i just know how to talk to asians better.
hmm.. loved it other than the fact that my feet ached after so much dancing.heeheee.

BUT! on the first day of school we had to do athletics trials!
*faints*
i ran 100m and i was fine.
but when i woke up the next day i could hardly walk normally!
plus i had interhouse dance practice!
i was like.. OUCH OUCH OUCH!!
its really painful okay.. u wont understand one. haha
the nxt day it got worse~!
he..hehe..
my theory tcher was like u have to massage it and bla..
then she massaged for me.
i was like.. OOOOWWWWW!!!!
yeah. so that was the highlight of the week.
other than that, it was rushing thru tons of work.
haha.
oh gosh. last night i watched krists's vcd: e zhuo ju zhi wen
its like the best drama serial ever. heeehe
i watched till 5plus am!
