Saw maxwin and his friends do a cover of OneRepublic-All the Right Moves on facebook. The first line is originally "all the right friends in all the right places" but I think i heard it as "all the right friends in all the wrong places".
Sometimes life does feel like that though. I have all the right friends.. friends that are so loving and generous, friends who walk the extra mile because they care.. but they are in the wrong places... or should I say, I keep changing places so there's always the hurt from separations. leaving Singapore to study in Perth, leaving Perth for holiday in Singapore, leaving OCF UWA to join OCF Curtin, watching friends i've grown to love graduate and return home to whichever countries they came from, not knowing if I'll ever see them again in my lifetime. It hurts.
Thank God that He is omnipresent, that He can be everywhere at every moment. I can find comfort in knowing that He's with my family and friends even when He's with me.
