Praise the Lord! this semester has been beautiful so far and i can see it continuing to be so :)

despite some changes in plans and farewells which i've always disliked, this time i'm excited to move from ocf perth to ocf curtin. not that i don't like ocf perth, because i really do love them and i bet i'll be missing them heaps, but i guess a change in environment is always good. being in a fresh place, looking at things from different perspectives, meeting new people, learning from them and serving wherever God's decided for me to go..

i'm also happy with school because i think all the units are really meaningful and geared towards where my passion lies.. listening to lecturers and other OTs speak these few weeks, im feeling more confident that this is really really something that's on my heart, something that i'll find fulfilment in as a job in the future. if this fails, i dont mind being a firefighter!

lalala. one more thing! im signing up for city to surf- 12km! hahahahahahaha oh man i hope i finish it in one piece. but its turning out great (not the training bit).. its giving me opportunities to talk to freshies/catch up with friends etc etc so im liking it so far =D

i just found out today that my dad's room is like a christian bookstore
he has a study bible!! n nkjv!! n a lot of other things! omg y did i take so long to realise!!
anyway, woohoo 2 weeks of no school, day #1: so unproductive =( im in a state of depression D= i failed my hpt sigh i'l go tmr i better pass. license license here i come!

5 Then Jehoshaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the LORD in the front of the new courtyard 6 and said: "O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. 7 O our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? 8 They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your Name, saying, 9 'If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'
10 "But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt; so they turned away from them and did not destroy them. 11 See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance. 12 O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."
13 All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the LORD.
14 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly.
15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.' "
18 Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD. 19 Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice.
20 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful." 21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his [d] holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever."

my bible study group of 2007, which i havent really got the chance to interact with much.. see how fuddy duddy they are.. i was like "LETS POSE!" they replied "POSE WHAT? I DONNO HOW TO POSE!" hahahaha siao tingtongs... that's more like it! hahaha the ASIAN PRIDE POSE! heehee see how much we're enjoying ourselves... hahah ok u cant really tell from the photo but we did enjoy the bs very much =D

ALAS, my long awaited bible study in a million donkey years last night and also the last of the year!

im so sad that its over but very glad we could attend!

and guess what? it was at our house! hahaha even better =D

we had the honour of cooking dinner for our dearest bs group. chicken rice and bbq chicken! and esther cooked yummy vegies and beancurd skin sweet soup. YUMMY.

so during bs we studied James5 and sorta summed up the whole of James. it made me think a lot and i just loved the feeling of having bs again! the sharing, discussing, bonding, praying... miss them so much! now im happy. heehee.

today we made our way to the city.. it was fun. that was where we found that piece of 'pork'

ok i need to go shower now. we spring cleaned the house. its sparkling clean but i m dirty. hehe
