one sunday, kristi n i decided on a camwhore session with a monkey she recently kidnapped for the weekend from josiah's car during our study break...the photos were posted on facebook and the comments cracked me up. HAHA



i used to find my identity as a dancer because i had ballet lessons
i used to find my identity as a muso because i joined band in high school and played the piano and did music in high school
i used to find my identity as a chorister because i joined choir n sec n high school
i used to find my identity as a sporty monkey because i was in track in primary school
i used to find my identity as a PL lite because i came from PL primary
i used to find my identity as a cedarian because i came from cedar sec
i used to find my identity as part of the "TWINS" gang because we hung out everyday from p1-p3
i used to find my identity as a SMAGS boarder because i experienced the recess dash and lack of cash, the sunday roast, vegemite on toast, the funny rice wasn much of a surprise...
i used to find my identity as part of Clover as they were a gigantic part of my life right before i left for perth and now n then i still find myself reminiscing n realising they've gone on n made new cliques n it seemed like i was left behind.
i used to find my identity in friendships i made. but what exactly happens when they start to fade?

all that's left is this boring, plain, normal, worse than normal, shy, quiet, selfish, self-obsessed and lost thing.

im so glad i talked to u today! =) u r v a special friend! u give me tummyaches! u make me laugh till my mouth's sore and dry but we get so high =) u were such a great influence on me.. encouraging me to be closer to God, to pray more, depend entirely on God, to read the bible more basically just everything more! my happiest days are still those sec3 days where we "sing to the Lord I Love You" and danced on chairs, played catching around the pillar and reversed roles whenever. when we dreamed n wished for sentosa which we still haven gone together up till now! when i laugh at ur "messy look". when u da bao-ed fried bee hoon from ur house downstairs for us to eat in school, tryin to ignore the weird looks ppl gave us. where i learned the thumbs up so other ppl can say grace, where we often sat outside the class to pray with so many other classmates. when we met up n tried to set up The Fishermen. when we choreographed a weird dance to Dont Phunk With My Heart and Dare You To Move. When we celebrated ur bday n were freaked out by ur grumpiness at first HAHA. when we went to watch Oompa Loompas on national day eve n ur skirt was delicately secured by a pathetic safety pin which threatened to fall out ever so often. aah. at least i know im not reminiscing alone, that u too are stuck in the clover times. cheers my fellow silly clown! cant wait to see u soon <3<3<3

hahaha u look like a tomato and a mouse at the same time in this photo! haha don't worry bout tmr =D do ur best n let God do the rest! rmbr that ur main purpose is to praise n worship God so don't let other stuff hinder you from doing that! You'll be fine and alive! hahaha. i miss our oval walks n talks in smags! and the sneaking from room to room past bedtime.. You have also been such a blessing. you really lent me ur shoulder to cry on when i was homesick and been a good listening ear, also sharing in all the laughter and silly antics.. like this one right here.. ahhah THANKS FOR EVERYTHING =D MWAH!

one day, i'll find my identity as an occupational therapist hopefully, who knows?

but its time to take up that part time casual cross carrying task to a full time lifetime job. I want to make that my main identity! MY IDENTITY IS FOUND IN CHRIST!
