I HAVE BEEN A BUSY GIRL LATELY!

i been out in the gym just working on my fitness, i blow kisses (woooweee!) blablabla..

like suddenly i see myself in toa payoh and novena area everyday..

zzzzz when im at the childcare, i just cant wait for 6 to come..

sometimes i hate teaching there no matter how cute the kids are..

i dont wanna teach them i wanna play with them! and they have no mood to study which makes everything worse. hahaha but then if u tell them 'lets play a spelling GAME! or the QUIET GAME!" ah.. then they start to listen. haha how gullible.

so yes. one minute im so free and rotting at home and the next im struggling to find time to sleep.

am i living the life God wants me to?

bs@1724 yesterday talked about God's test for Abraham.
God told Abraham to use his only son, Isaac, whom he loved dearly (and he only had Isaac when he was finally 100 years old mind you!!), as the sacrifice for the offering.

WILL YOU DO THAT IF GOD ASKED YOU TO?

Although Abraham loved his son soooooo much (plus he only had Isaac when he was 100 years old), and although it would have been so much pain to sacrifice his son, Abraham trusted in God. He trusted that God will keep His promise of many descendants even when what he was offering was his ONE AND ONLY son whom he only had when he was 100 years old.. and so before he really killed Isaac, God's messenger came to stop him and God had already provided a lamb for Abraham which he then used as a sacrifice. Abraham has passed the test!

more often than not, i let my own selfish desires get the better of me. i forget about obeying God and forget about living my life as a worship for God. Abraham showed true obedience and trust in God, willing to even sacrifice his own son, but i struggle with even the smallest matters like tithing one tenth consistently.Obviously, I have a long way to go...

monday 14 jan 07 marked the commencement of my productive lifestyle =D
katong laksa for lunch with gerri, edmen, youyan n deborah n then a bus ride to kallang to bowl!
glenna came and then joash came.. i decided i dont like bowling cuz we dont click. i walk i aim i think i release the ball and it keeps falling into that stupid drain grrr... and my score ends up almost half of the second last person. HAIZZZZ its such a depressing game.. i like playing it with my sister tho. hehehehehe....
after 3 depressing games, gerri n i made our way to toa payoh to deliver food! yay!
we knew our way around so much better this time muahaha. and check this out - happiest moment of the day (other than the time i got spares during bowling) was when bus 57 finally arrived to bring us to the other blocks! WOOHOO! i was really literally jumping for joy boingboing!
and that was enough to tire me out..zz

today was my first day at work at the student care and gosh.. the kids are so noisy. their only form of communication is... shouting.. ahhaha but its so cute xD ah. ok im tired goodbye =)

advertising for touch community service! come and help to deliver food to elderly citizens who are frail and too immobile to get their meals by themselves! when we went around delivering food, i was wondering what would the other ppl in similar situations do if they never heard of such services? starve? most of the old folks live by themselves in small units.. some with poor eyesight and some too weak to move.. what happened to their family members? how many of such situations exist? i feel so sad that i've been so ignorant, too caught up in my own world to notice those around me. those that need while here i am splurging away on unnecessary stuff, wasting away precious seconds of my life doing nothing. THEREFORE, im dedicating this holiday to touch community service and helping out at mr tham's student care =D YAY! although that means i'll have to wake up earlier and have less time to play, its so comforting to know that all these time contribute to helping others and adding value to their lives so i'm absolutely content x)

and today we had choir a2 gathering! =D they are so funny they make me laugh so much I LOVE A2!! WOOHOO! its so cool that we still keep in touch even though we've left cedar for a year/years/many years. reminiscing about all the funny or scary or annoying things that happened last time.. haha i miss the good ol' cedar days!! oh it was the first time i stepped into kbox in my whole entire life! its ez to get lost there hurhur.

hello valerie yeo buddybuddy =) i love you, you are so cute. i asked you to go to marina square and u asked me if it was alright to alight at marina bay station. when i told you to alight at city hall you said that u need to walk v far frm city hall and asked if marina bay would be nearer. hahahaha. blursotong!=p

that's our lunch at thaipan! omg THAIPAN IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST! go eat there! in mandarin gardens(a condo near vj/marine parade?). yummy and the prices are reasonable.. great for big groups! we had... honey chicken, sambal kangkong, cereal prawns PEELED, thaipan special tofu with chicken floss, butter squid and butter squid =D that yellow thing's the butter squid..*drools* oh n rice =))every bit savoured. YUMYUM I GIVE ALL MY THUMBS!

meet valerie,wen zheng and weiyang. valerie is v young n intelligent, i havent talked much to wen zheng but he's nice too =D weiyang seems quiet but comes up with lotsa funny things which are so unpredictable HAHAHA.that's cheeyann, irene and shihua. cheeyann is someone who thinks alot and knows so many things that i feel so dumb n ignorant hahah he did music so cool=D irene has a coolio potato blog and takes pro photos. she is also so knowledgable esp geography stuff and just genereal knowledge.. haha and i feel dumb again..... shi hua is one of the juniors i talk the most to. she did ballet! xD and she is very cute! esp when she's making a point that msn destroys interpersonal communication skills.. hahahahsay hi to chuan yun,jaime and marcus! chuanyun has nice hair x), jaime looks sweet and smiley =D marcus is plain gong. haha who squirts lime on a stranger's face instead of the hokkien mee? there.. this one.. hahaha and he wants to bring cloth to rollerblading so he wont destroy his beautiful skin (havent u heard of kneepads and whatever guards before!! hahahah cloth for what!!!)

and heres jeannie and jaslyn. jeannie's simply awesome. jaslyn makes me laugh.. she nods her head unknowingly. and she fell backwards when she tried to push marcus into the sea..while marcus just stood still and wondered what had just happened. oh my jaslyn ur so cute la hahaha

today, i went to ps to meet OCF-ers for lunch. we were meant to go to sentosa but the weather forbade x( but anyways! we went to paradiz centre i think and played in the arcade! hahaha my favourite is still bishi bashi! its the best la. not like parapara that stupid thing. how to play one la. 3 ppl in one machine (kristi geri n me) n we still died early =( i think we looked like sotongs waving our tentacles everywhere hehe. n that stupid kiap toy machine! it doesnt kiap properly! wasted my $1 !!#*&#*!% hahaha. n off we went to selegie for nice hot tauhuay which was so so so filling................................. bloated.

esther drove youyan debs geri n me to parkway after that, where geri n i watched them eat their ban mians. deborah and youyan dont eat ikan bilis la! crazy right! so yummy! so i ate it for them =) so sweet.. ahhahah YUMYUMYUM. then we wandered around....

met cyrus cedris for dinner although its just a few of us.. but i think their so sweet! like all of them are in a rush but they still came =) shihua germaine steven cheeyann marcus gerri jaslyn me! n they all disappeared together la hahaha n it was left with jas marcus n i. n so we talked for a bit n jas n i hopped onto 76 home

its pouring outside. its so nice and cool and windy.. i want to play in the rain! but my bum's to heavy to move off this seat. plus i've showered. plus i dont know what's there to play.. wetheads hahaha

life in the boarding house drives you nuts sometimes...

...but upon looking back, i don't regret. =)

looking through the photos of my boarding house life the last 2 years, i realised that despite my complaints of how boring and restrictive life gets at times, there'll also be lotsa things that i'll miss and remember.

i remember the time when i first stepped into my room.. aah how empty it was, encouraging me to keep it neat and tidy.. but not for long! when the real workload and responsibilities kicked in, it becomes rather impossible.

i remember the times when i would burst into kristi's room and talk cry laugh sleep till its past bedtime and when the housies come to tick us off, we head towards the trusty wardrobe x)

i enjoyed flooding kristi's camera with photos of me, my watch, my leg, my feet, with the school hat, with her eyeliner on one eye... hahaha... i remember us going up the oval and to the junior school playground to walk and chat after meals, or hang out at the music rooms to play the piano and sing..

i remember the birthdays we celebrated.. waking up in the wee hours to prepare and surprise our friends. i remember the socials (although not many) which gave us reason to dress up once in a while. i remember the balls and dances as well, where i would volunteer so readily to do peoples' hair and make up cuz its so much fun =D

i remember the silly antics we resort to when life gets boring.. watching movies, drama serials, jumping and trying to touch the exit sign, room visiting, camwhoring, dressing up in weird stuff.

i remember the stash of food each boarder keeps in a special corner. i dont know why but boarders are hungry people. running out of class towards the boarding house when the lunch bell rings.. sprinting if its cheeseburger for lunch that day. i remember sitting in a circle on the grass under the tree that looks like a giant brocolli and then running away when the fat hairy crows start dropping gold. i remember courtney getting a sore bum after sitting on a bee, i remember the girls complaining about their hairy legs or just drooling over second helpings. i remember ms green who walks around with a plastic bag in her hands and getting the girls to pick up scrap on the ground.

i remember hannah's loud and angry sounding knocks on the door (just because she wants to show off her amazing strength hurhur), bursting into the room and screaming and hugging when we return from holidays. i remember her stupid comments like "honey im home!" when she returns to the room from school, jumping out of bed when the alarm rings in the morning (the first person i've ever known who's so excited to wake up. really.), when her cupboard door collapsed suddenly..

i remember the younger girls coming into the room and making noise, watching fruits basket/hana kimi and playing with the colourful volleyball, complaining, being annoying, being cute, being hilarious, being stupid.

i remember getting very dry throats after watching hana kimi for 4+ hours straight with hannah, translating every single sentence hahaha. i remember the torturous jogging sessions to the beach or round the oval, the efforts we made to visit the school gym regularly during exam period, rolling down the hill and feeling itchy all over afterwards.

i remember mugging for my last exam ever.. MUSIC! i didnt really need to squeeze for that since i had 9 whole days to study that subject solely but revising it with aliya just made me feel more and more anxious. anyway, it was an enormous pigging out session. eating grapes, kitkat, gummies, listening to the same songs over n over n over n over again, trying to remember this and that.. we started off sitting real straight and as the hours passed, gravity overpowered us and we were lying on the ground, struggling to keep awake.

thinking back, i actually kinda miss being there in a way. just a little bit. the goodnight hugs when hannah always scolds geri for bending down (because it makes hannah seem short), when geri comes in the middle of the night complaining about the dripping aircon or her noisy neighbour. fortunately for me, my neighbours arent noisy and even if they are, i'll still manage to sleep through the night effortlessly heehee.

well.. those were the days.. an addition to my collection of the good ol' days =)

and so i've been keeping myself busy in the last days of 2007. meeting up with friends, hanging out, laughing grumbling moaning at my family, cutting hair for 4.80, being annoyed by my dad who seems more anxious about my results than me. ('more' is actually a very big understatement), helping daryl do homework with the bs group but ending up having a sumptuous chocolate dried mango and strawberry chewing gum picnic with tips to lose flabs and lotsa randoms. watching devil beside you!!! and they kiss again!!! eating eating eating... bowling, unwrapping late christmas presents, dozing off in the car, dozing off at the dining table, dozing off on the sofa..running away from porridge brother's(zhoudi=jodie) pokes n pinches n scratches n wet kisses(run for ur life..........), trying to fill the whole bed so she doesnt roll onto mine and deprive me of my sleep...

ITS TIME TO START WRITING OUT MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS! =D
